Our Story
Who We Are
Exclusive Wilderness Trails was built around a simple belief: that the best way to see Tanzania is the way people who actually live here would show it to you. Not a fixed departure shared with strangers, not a itinerary copied from a template, but a trip designed around your dates, your pace, and what you specifically want from the wilderness.
We work almost entirely within the Northern Circuit, the Serengeti, Ngorongoro, Tarangire, and the wider ecosystem the Great Migration moves through, along with combined journeys across the border into Kenya. Staying close to this ground rather than spreading thin across the whole continent means our guides know it properly: which camps are worth a night versus two, which conservancies allow a night drive, and where the herds actually are in a given week rather than a general seasonal guess.
Every guide we work with is Tanzanian, English-speaking, and licensed, and most have worked with us for years rather than being hired per trip. That continuity matters more than it might seem. A guide who knows you, and knows this landscape intimately, notices things a rotating roster never will.
We do not run a call centre. When you enquire, you reach a specialist directly, and that same person stays with your trip from the first email through to your return flight home.
